                                         Terms and Conditions of Hire for Weddings

 Wedding Packages: We have variable price packages pp

*Deposits: Will be payable upon confirmation of the event/s future date.

*Time on Property: This is negotiable however as a guide:

Garden tours are about 2hours ,

Photo sessions 3hours ,

Weddings about 7 hours.

Toilets: Queendom Gardens has 6 1st class toilets and bathroom facilities.

No Damage: Hirers are liable and responsible for any damage caused to the Garden or property within Queendom Gardens and will fully indemnify the owners for all or any loss/losses incurred. An Insurance certificate will be required to be produced prior to the event clearly stating the terms and premium paid on such insurance.

Car Park: Car parking is limited to the use of the main party and their guests. The car parking numbers are consistent with the district license (40 cars) issued to the Queendom Gardens for weddings and therefore insufficient parking is unlikely. Any special requirements will be considered and provided if possible.

Unruly Behaviour: All hirers are responsible for the control of all of their guests and must ensure that a good standard of behavior is maintained for the duration the hirer is using the Queendom Gardens facilities.

Photographers: Photographers are permitted and in consultation with the management of Queendom Gardens may access all areas of the Gardens to undertake such activity as required.

Children: Children are permitted in the Gardens but must at all times be in the care of a person or persons of responsible conduct who must be over the age of 16years and who must be responsible for their behavior and safety.

No Dogs: No Dogs are permitted.

No Confetti: No confetti please. Rose petals are a brilliant and natural substitute.

Music: Music is permitted consistent with District Council noise requirements. Selection of music must be in agreement with the managers of Queendom Gardens.

Removal of equipment: All hired gear and equipment used for and in support of the event paid for by the hirers must be removed on the day of the function unless otherwise agreed to by the Management of Queendom Gardens.

We undertake to abide by and observe the above terms and conditions and will ensure all of our guests do likewise.

               Our Wedding Events Package Includes 

Your Wedding Ceremony is set amongst stunning gardens. There are many places to choose from weather dependant e.g. lake house or infront of a pond or perhaps by the waterfall, the events centre.

A ceremony signing of the register can be created in a momorable location of your choice.

The unique environment of Queendom Gardens is set in 2,5 ha of beautiful gardens with ponds, a large lake. The property consists of 30 ha land with Nikau and Ferns, a 600+ year old Kauri tree, Rimus and other species of untouched native bush.

A lake house seats 12 people with a large terrace set over the water and surrounds for about 50 people (can be used for pre drinks and nibbles) with unique illuminated night time efffects that are stunning.

Use of gazebo seated for 28 people and floodlight garden in the evenings.

The whole of the gardens and surroundings offer stunning photo-shoots.

Your reception dinner presented in style according to your choice.

A cake table, cake knife, gift table.

Sound system for background CD music.

A space for dancing and if you choose live music (not included).

1st class staff providing discret professional service.

A personal wedding consultation (1- 1 1/2 hours) to discuss final matters at about 6-7 weeks prior to your wedding date with an onsite practice run rehersal is recommended, whereupon all details for your special day can be discussed and finalised.
